Bellevue's outdoor ice rink returns to Downtown Park on Friday, Nov. 13 with a new deal: $12 "Cheapskate Mondays" that include skate rental.

The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink will be open daily through Monday, Jan. 18, 2027, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA), which produces the rink, announced the season on Oct. 9.

The rink is entering its 29th year. It draws more than 45,000 skaters each season to a covered venue with more than 9,000 square feet of real ice and views of the Downtown Bellevue skyline, according to the BDA.

The Cheapskate Mondays deal is new for this season. The $12 price covers admission and skate rental on select Mondays, the BDA said. Standard pricing details were not included in the announcement.

Patrick Bannon, BDA president and CEO, said the rink is a holiday tradition that brings visitors into downtown. "…It draws people into downtown to enjoy our local shops, restaurants and everything else the season offers," Bannon said in the announcement.

The rink also offers free skating lessons, themed nights and on-site concessions. Advance tickets and season passes are available at bellevueicerink.com. Walk-up admission is limited, so the BDA encourages buying tickets ahead of time.

The ice rink is one piece of a broader holiday lineup downtown. Garden d'Lights returns to Bellevue Botanical Garden on Saturday, Nov. 28 and runs through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027. The event, in its 31st year, features more than half a million lights shaped into plants, animals and waterfalls across the garden at 12001 Main St.

General admission is $10 for ages 11 and older. Children 10 and under get in free. The garden also offers $5 nights during the first two weeks and a sensory-friendly night on Tuesday, Dec. 8, with no live music and attendance capped at 200 guests per half-hour.

Other holiday events listed by the BDA include Snowflake Lane at The Bellevue Collection, holiday performances at Meydenbauer Center Theatre and Gingerbread Workshops at KidsQuest Children's Museum.

Tickets for the ice rink are on sale at bellevueicerink.com.
