The Bellevue Police Department's free Women Empowered self-defense workshop returns to City Hall on Sunday, Oct. 18, with a session focused on reflexive development techniques.

The workshop runs from 1:20 to 3:10 p.m. at Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE. Space is limited, and the department said in a post on X to email Officer Craig at [email protected] to reserve a spot.

The program has drawn more than 2,000 women from across the Puget Sound region since it launched in 2022, according to the city's newsletter as of February 2025. The workshops are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
