Quality Sewing & Vacuum is offering three free beginner sewing classes at its Bellevue store Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26.

The shop at 14315 NE 20th St. will hold two sessions on Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and one on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. No prior experience is required.

The classes are part of Teach the World to Sew Day, a global event organized by Singer that pairs beginner-friendly instruction with participating dealers, select Michaels stores and other partner locations, 425 Magazine first reported. This is the second year Quality Sewing & Vacuum has hosted the event. The inaugural edition in 2025 drew more than 5,000 participants across 17 countries and five continents, according to a press release cited by the magazine.

The store sits in the Ross Plaza shopping center off Interstate 520, between Ross and Kennelly Keys Music. Virtual sessions are also available through Singer's Teach the World to Sew page.
