Rob Foxcurran is running for King County assessor in the November 3, 2026, general election. The official King County Elections candidate list also names Dominique M. Scarimbolo in this nonpartisan race.

In a March 2026 questionnaire published by the 31st District Democrats, Foxcurran describes himself as a certified general real-estate appraiser and the City of Seattle’s senior appraiser. He says he has served as a hearing examiner for the King County Board of Appeals and Equalization. He lists the University of Washington among his educational background and says he is a PROTEC17 member and shop steward.

Foxcurran identifies accurate assessments, accessible information and affordability as his priorities. He proposes clearer explanations and digital tools so residents can understand property valuations. He also says he would advocate for a homestead exemption and income-based limits on property taxes, measures requiring state policy changes.

The questionnaire includes his support for expanded outreach to people eligible for senior, veteran and low-income property-tax relief. Those policy commitments and descriptions of his qualifications are his own statements to the district organization; they are not Surround Sound questionnaire responses.
