The Bellevue Farmers Market will stay open past its regular Thursday season with two Saturday fall markets on Oct. 31 and Nov. 21.

Both markets run 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1717 Bellevue Way NE, in the parking lot of Bellevue Presbyterian Church. The nonprofit market's main season of Thursday afternoon markets wrapped up Oct. 1 after running weekly since May 21.

The market credited strong community support for the extension, according to its website. Shoppers can expect seasonal produce, sustainably raised meats and seafood, fresh flowers, artisan foods, handmade goods, ready-to-eat food, live music and activities.

The Saturday format is not entirely new. Local events blogger and real estate agent Carissa Saffel reported that organizers tested a Saturday pilot market in August before committing to the two fall dates.

The Oct. 31 market overlaps with a free Halloween event on Main Street in Old Bellevue, hosted by the Old Bellevue Merchants Association from 1 to 3 p.m. that same afternoon. The two events are at different locations across downtown.

Parking is free on site. The market is ADA accessible, with bus routes nearby.

Vendors accept cash, credit and debit. SNAP EBT users can swipe their card at the Information Booth and receive a dollar-for-dollar SNAP Market Match of up to $25 per market day. WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits are also accepted.

The market posted strong numbers during the 2025 season. A total of 31,926 people visited, according to figures the Bellevue Farmers Market posted on Instagram in March. Vendors took home $1,034,769 in direct sales.

That season included 87 small businesses. Twenty-two were farms. The market generated $13,000 in total SNAP buying power and donated 1,921 pounds of produce to Hopelink.

The Nov. 21 market falls six days before Snowflake Lane's nightly parade begins Nov. 27 and a week before Garden d'Lights opens at the Bellevue Botanical Garden on Nov. 28.

Shoppers can sign up for text alerts by texting "BFM" to 425-437-8877 or follow the market on Instagram and Facebook at @bellevuefarmersmarket.
