Bellevue families looking for one more Halloween stop have a free option on Friday, Oct. 30, at the Northwest Arts Center.
The city's Parks & Community Services department is hosting a Monster Mash Halloween Bash from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the center, located at 9825 NE 24th St. The indoor event features trick-or-treating with candy, themed activities and an open toddler play gym, according to the city's event listing. Costumes are encouraged.
No pre-registration is required. The bash is open to all ages and families.
The Northwest Arts Center sits in a residential neighborhood off Bellevue Way with views of the Cascade Mountains, according to the city's facility page. The 3,880-square-foot community center offers year-round classes in fitness, music, dance, martial arts, pottery and other arts, according to the city's website. It is ADA-compliant and has 32 parking spaces, two accessible spaces and a drop-off zone near the entrance.
Residents who need alternate formats, interpreters or other accommodations should call the center at least 48 hours before the event at 425-452-4106 or email [email protected], according to a city flyer for the bash.
The Monster Mash is not the only Halloween event on Bellevue's calendar. The Bellevue Police Department promoted a separate Halloween on the Hill event at the South Bellevue Community Center on X, with that event scheduled for Oct. 24.
