The Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra brings an all-American concert to Bastyr University Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m.

The program, titled "A Gathering of American Voices," features youth musicians and chamber artists alongside the orchestra, according to an event listing on Bellevue Patch posted by LWSO Executive Director Brook Rose.

The listing describes the concert as "an afternoon of American soundscapes."

Kids 12 and under get in free. Seniors, youth and students receive reduced pricing. Specific ticket prices were not listed.

The nonprofit orchestra, which counts the City of Bellevue, the National Endowment for the Arts, 4Culture and Arts WA among its sponsors, states its mission is "to enrich and inspire our communities through performance, outreach and education."

Rose's listing drew a distinction between this concert and the holiday season. "It's not a holiday concert," the listing reads.

The program instead focuses on what Rose called works "deeply rooted in American musical identity."
