Rolex celebrated the grand opening of Washington's only standalone boutique Tuesday, Oct. 27, at The Shops at The Bravern in Downtown Bellevue.
The 4,700-square-foot store at 11111 NE 8th St. opened its doors Oct. 8, according to the Downtown Bellevue Network. The grand opening followed about three weeks later. It's the first in the state.
The store sits on The Bravern's main level near Gucci and two storefronts from Omega's boutique. It fills the space formerly occupied by Wolford, an Austrian luxury brand that had been at The Bravern since the shopping center opened in September 2009. The storefront adjoins the former Neiman Marcus store, which closed in 2020.
Rolex filed permits with the City of Bellevue for the boutique in December 2025.
The boutique is operated with Bucherer, a Swiss watch and jewelry retailer founded in Lucerne in 1888 that has more than 100 stores worldwide. Rolex announced plans to acquire Bucherer in August 2023. Most Rolex watches reach buyers through authorized dealers such as Ben Bridge, and the brand runs relatively few stores of its own.
The store's 40-foot-high façade features travertine, bronzed brass and cannelé slats with oversized window displays, according to National Jeweler. Rolex said the design is a nod to the Pacific Northwest's evergreen forests. Inside, the boutique includes a lounge, a hospitality counter, semi-private and private consultation areas, and a viewing area where shoppers can watch Rolex-trained watchmakers at work.
The Bellevue opening fits a broader push. Since 2024, Rolex has opened boutiques in Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Plano, Texas, the Miami Design District, Montreal's Royalmount, Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive and London's Old Bond Street, the Downtown Bellevue Network reported.
The boutique's arrival also comes as Schnitzer West LLC, The Bravern's original developer, moves to buy back the complex's office side. A July news release said the company is under exclusive agreement to purchase The Bravern Office Commons and Garage, two towers totaling 749,694 square feet that Microsoft leased from 2009 through 2025, according to the Downtown Bellevue Network.
Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Hoodline reported, citing 425 Business.
