Eastside arts and cultural nonprofits can apply for up to $15,000 in city funding through the 2027-28 Eastside Arts Partnership Support Grants, with applications open now through Oct. 10.

The grants, administered by the City of Bellevue's Arts Program, provide two-year operational support to organizations that offer publicly accessible programming to Bellevue and Eastside residents. The city says the program connects arts programming to residents' quality of life and students' education.

Organizations can request up to $15,000 or 50% of their operating budget, whichever is less, according to the grant listing on FundsforNGOs. To qualify, groups must hold 501(c)(3) status or be fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3), and must be based in East King County.

Applicants can also seek the PowerUp for Equal Access bonus grant at the same time, though the city has not published the bonus grant's dollar amount or separate eligibility criteria.

The City of Bellevue Arts Program announced the application window on Instagram on Aug. 24, directing nonprofits to the city's grants page at BellevueWA.Gov/ArtsGrants.

How to apply

All applications are submitted through Submittable, the city's online grants portal. Grant guidelines are available in eight languages on the city website, including Chinese (simplified and traditional), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Vietnamese.

The deadline is Oct. 10.

The EAP grants are one of several funding streams Bellevue offers to arts organizations. The city also administers Project Grants for yearly arts, cultural and heritage projects, and Art and Cultural Capital Facility Grants, according to the city's grants page.
