The Bellevue Police Department is giving away free ice cream and hosting lawn games at Downtown Park on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The "Back to School Ice Cream with a Cop" event runs from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Downtown Park Pavilion, 10201 NE 4th St. The department announced the event on X, saying it will provide ice cream and games. Activities include tug of war, cornhole and a police car on display.
No registration is required.
The department also held National Night Out at the same park on Aug. 4, part of a string of community events this year.
