T-Mobile is replacing its fixed wireless bundles with a new system that lets customers choose their own streaming, gaming and travel perks.
The Bellevue-headquartered carrier announced T-Mix on Monday, Oct. 26, introducing three plan tiers that use tokens called "Picks" to let subscribers select benefits from partners including Netflix, ESPN, Xbox Game Pass, Apple Music and Delta SkyMiles.
The plans go on sale in November, according to a T-Mobile press release.
T-Mix Standard starts at $55 a month for one line with one Pick. T-Mix More costs $75 a month with two Picks.
T-Mix Loaded runs $95 a month with three Picks. All prices require AutoPay and do not include taxes and fees.
Discounted versions will be available for customers 55 and older, military members, veterans, first responders and college students.
Customers can swap their partner perks every 90 days. Adding lines adds Picks to the account, and unused Picks do not carry over to the next quarter.
T-Mobile said benefits can also be used toward phone deals, though the company's terms note it may change the number of Picks a benefit requires at any time.
Allan Samson, T-Mobile's chief marketing officer, said in the press release that the company's research found most customers dislike paying for extras they do not use.
"One-size-fits-all was simple for the industry, but for customers it turned into one-size-fits-nobody," Samson said.
What it costs by household size
The pricing math shifts depending on how many lines a household carries. Samson told GeekWire that accounts with one or two lines will pay $5 to $10 less per month than on current plans, while a five-line account might pay $10 to $15 more.
Phones and perks draw from the same pool of Picks, GeekWire reported, so families that upgrade every line may have few Picks left for streaming or other extras.
The new plans do not carry a price guarantee. That detail is notable: GeekWire reported the launch came days after New York Attorney General Letitia James announced a settlement with T-Mobile over its 2017 "Price Guarantee" plans, under which the company raised prices by about $5 a line in 2024.
The attorney general's office expects the settlement to provide more than $38 million in value to affected customers.
Local employer context
T-Mobile employs roughly 6,800 people in the Puget Sound region as of August, according to Downtown Bellevue.
But the company's U.S. headcount fell by 4,671 jobs in the first half of 2026 under a workforce restructuring led by CEO Srini Gopalan, who took over from Mike Sievert in November 2025. T-Mix is one of the first major consumer launches under Gopalan.
T-Mobile is scheduled to report third-quarter earnings on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, according to a company announcement.
