Bellevue homebuilder Conner Homes promoted Dalton Smith to the newly created position of vice president of business operations.
Smith will oversee construction, purchasing, marketing, and sales, reporting directly to president Erin Fowler, according to 425 Business.
He joined Conner Homes as a summer intern in 2010 while studying in the University of Washington's Construction Management program, accepted a full-time role in 2012, and rose through project manager, director of land operations, and senior director of land operations before this promotion.
He has spent his entire 16-year career at the firm.
Conner Homes, headquartered at 12600 SE 38th St. in Bellevue, has built more than 6,000 homes across the Pacific Northwest since owner Charlie Conner took control of the company in 2000.
The firm is marketing Newport View, a luxury single-family home project in Bellevue expected to deliver in 2026.
