The Seattle Seahawks' only home preseason game of 2026 kicks off Saturday, Aug. 15, at 5 p.m. PT when the Dallas Cowboys visit Lumen Field.

It's the first time the 12s will see the defending Super Bowl champions take the field in Seattle since the franchise's 29-13 victory over New England in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8. For Bellevue-area fans making the trip across the lake, here's what to watch.

Milroe's second act

Second-year quarterback Jalen Milroe is the headliner. The third-round pick sat behind Sam Darnold during Seattle's championship run but flashed in last year's preseason, rushing for 104 yards while posting a modest 42.8 PFF passing grade. This camp has been different.

At a July 28 padless practice in Renton, Milroe went 2-for-2 on first-and-goal drills for touchdowns, rolled left and fired a dart across his body for a 12-yard completion, then dropped a perfect over-the-shoulder pass to rookie running back Jadarian Price under pressure, according to Bellevue Reporter. Saturday's game is his best chance yet to show he can run the offense at game speed.

Camp standouts chasing roster spots

Wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr., signed to the practice squad last December, didn't drop a pass during an Aug. 5 camp session and hauled in a sideline grab from Milroe through traffic. He's fighting for a spot in a receiver room headlined by Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Rasheed Shaheed. Third-year wideout Cody White (6-3, 225 pounds, five career catches) also found separation in red-zone work that day.

On defense, safety Julian Love missed eight of 17 games last season with injuries. He's been working a weighted sprint cable machine at camp and looked sharp covering tight ends and blowing up screen passes on Aug. 5.

The Arnold question

The Seahawks hosted former Lions first-round cornerback Terrion Arnold for an official tryout Monday, Aug. 10. Arnold, 23, faces eight felony charges, including armed robbery and kidnapping, stemming from an alleged February incident in Tampa. He was out on $1 million bond with an arraignment scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14, one day before kickoff.

"We're working through the situation right now," head coach Mike Macdonald said at his Tuesday, Aug. 11, media availability, according to Yahoo Sports.

Macdonald added that the team would do its "due diligence," noting there are "a lot of people in Terrion's corner that we respect in terms of the type of guy he is."

As we reported on the Seahawks' interest in Arnold, cornerback depth is a clear need after Riq Woolen's departure to Philadelphia in free agency. No signing has been announced.
