A global acai bowl chain with more than 900 locations worldwide picked Downtown Bellevue for its first Pacific Northwest outpost.

OAKBERRY opened July 23, inside Lincoln South Food Hall on the second floor of Lincoln Square South.

The Brazilian-born brand has never operated in Washington state before, according to the Downtown Bellevue Network, which first reported the opening.

The shop's menu centers on acai bowls and smoothies. Bowls come with unlimited toppings, letting customers build their own combinations. The acai is imported from the Amazon region of Brazil and made without food coloring, artificial preservatives, or guarana syrup.

PNW Oak Services LLC, a Washington-based franchisee, runs the Bellevue location.

A brand built on rapid expansion

OAKBERRY was founded in Brazil in 2016. The company raised $67 million in Series C funding in 2024 to fuel U.S. growth, according to a January 2026 press release from technology partner Qu.

At that time, the brand operated more than 50 U.S. locations with a pipeline of more than 250 planned nationwide.

Tatiana Favery, OAKBERRY's head of U.S. and Canada operations, said in January 2026 that the company's "growth ambitions in the U.S. require a platform that can scale with speed and accuracy."

Joining an evolving food hall

OAKBERRY is the first acai bowl concept at Lincoln South Food Hall, adding a new category to a lineup that includes DOTE Coffee Bar, Drip Tea, Great State Burger, Mix Sushi Bar, Seoul Bowl, and West Coast Tacos.

The food hall itself has gone through changes since opening in late 2022. It closed and relaunched on June 28, 2023, with a nearly all-new roster.

Kemper McQuaid, vice president of leasing for The Bellevue Collection, said at the 2023 relaunch that "the goal was to bring in restaurants new to Bellevue that had already found popularity elsewhere in the Seattle area."

Since then, the tenant mix has continued to shift, with Great State Burger and Mix Sushi Bar joining before OAKBERRY's arrival.

The food hall is on the second floor of Lincoln Square South, part of The Bellevue Collection in the heart of Downtown Bellevue.
