Main Street in Old Bellevue will shut down to traffic June 27, for a night market featuring more than 20 local artisan vendors and food trucks, plus a 21-and-older beverage garden.

The free event runs 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is organized by the Old Bellevue Merchants Association.

The Night Market is the signature event of the Old Bellevue Summer Series, a seven-Saturday program that kicked off June 6 and continues through July 18. The series offers free family activities on other Saturdays, including face painting, bubble play stations, Giant Connect Four, and soccer skills sessions run by Midlakes United at the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue at 209 100th Ave NE.

The city backed the series with a $20,000 grant through its Community Programming Fund, the maximum award available under the program. The CPF is in its second year; in its inaugural run in 2025, it supported nearly 100 events that drew more than 10,000 attendees across Bellevue, according to the Downtown Bellevue Network.

Jesse Canedo, Bellevue's chief economic development officer, said the fund responds to what residents and small businesses have been asking for. "Our residents and small businesses have asked for smaller, more frequent ways to come together, and this summer we're delivering," Canedo said.

The Old Bellevue Merchants Association posts weekly vendor lineups and updates on its Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok pages.

The Summer Series continues with free Saturday programming on July 4, July 11, and July 18.
