The team behind Tem Sib Eatery & Bar is converting its downtown Bellevue space into SUDA, a new Thai restaurant and bar.

SUDA will occupy the ground floor of Ten20 Tower at 1020 108th Ave. NE, Suite 100, the same room where Tem Sib served its last customers Aug. 31. The space is closed for renovations, the Downtown Bellevue Network first reported on Sept. 9. The team is testing dishes, developing cocktails and setting up the room for the new concept.

No specific opening date has been announced. An earlier closing notice put the reopening after mid-September, but SUDA is now listing fall 2026.

Primary owners Kay Fuengarom and Sudarat Tiacharoenwat opened Tem Sib in December 2018 under the name Tem Sib Thai Food Reimagined. It was their fifth Washington restaurant. The pair also opened Fern in 2019 on Main Street in Old Bellevue, in the storefront previously occupied by Local Burger.

Tem Sib's menu included small plates, salads, grilled items, soups, noodles and Thai street food. Signature dishes included fresh Pacific oysters, chicken stuffed green curry, char-grilled pork shoulder, crunchy crab and tom kha prawn soup, priced between $8 and $22. Diners parked free in the Ten20 garage.

In a message to customers, the team described the closing as the start of something new, promising new flavors in the same room. In a separate statement, the group said SUDA will cook from the traditions its members grew up with while making room to experiment with Pacific Northwest ingredients. The team framed the restaurant around a central question: where Thai food can go next.
