BODYROK, a reformer-based Pilates franchise with 100 studios across the U.S. and London, has filed building permits with the City of Bellevue to open a location at The Bellevue Collection in December 2026.

Franchise owner Erika Whalen told Downtown Bellevue Network the studio is part of a broader push into the Seattle metro. BODYROK opened a Queen Anne location on Saturday, Aug. 8, and plans additional studios in Ballard and University Village later this year.

"Over the next two years, we're planning to open close to a dozen studios across the greater Seattle area," Whalen told Downtown Bellevue Network.

The Bellevue studio will be the second experiential tenant announced at the Kemper Development-owned complex this summer. Escapology, a national escape room franchise, confirmed a seven-room venue at the Collection in late July, also targeting a late 2026 opening.

The Collection spans 5.5 million square feet across Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place, with more than 200 retail brands and 1.7 million square feet of Class A office space.

Lincoln Square North, a 25-story office tower within the complex, is fully leased. Kemper Development secured a $238 million refinancing for that tower in March 2026.

BODYROK offers 45-minute classes blending traditional reformer movements with strength-training segments on a U.S.-manufactured reformer. The brand has seven class themes, each targeting a full-body workout with a specific area of focus.

Whalen and a co-owner have operated BODYROK franchises in the Bay Area and Seattle since 2021, according to the company's franchise website. The brand was founded in San Francisco in 2012 and reached its 100-studio milestone in early August 2026.

No suite number or square footage has been disclosed. The exact location within the Collection's three properties has not been confirmed.

Whalen's franchise group plans to have Ballard and University Village studios open before year's end.
